Many members, myself included, have jobs, and errands, and things to accomplish in the middle of the afternoon. It isn't 9 o'clock in the evening, or 10:00 in the morning. It's the middle of the day - and guess what? Everything is OPEN. Supermarkets, doctors offices, banks, shopping malls. Dinner needs to tended too, children arrive home from school, things need to get DONE. So when a gvg session is planned ahead of time and aforementioned members take time out of otherwise BUSY schedules to come and play, deciding to PvE instead is pretty much inexcusable. Especially since UW or FoW or SF will all be there AFTER the gvg session.
I rushed home with errands half completed because I wanted to get this guild rank up, because I want this guild to succeed. It won't happen again on my part, but for future reference, those involved might want to cut back on that. It will alienate Canadian and American members REALLY quick. I dislike wasting my time intensely, and I'm sure none of you enjoy it either.

I agree with this post to some degree, we really do need to make sure that we do things on time, that we're ready to do things when they're scheduled. I myself was excited, it's my birthday, GvG! I just wanted to get it done, I was waiting and waiting for the time when we could do it. It will alienate players from America and Canada if we don't do things at the times we say, especially since most of the time GvG is scheduled around dinnertime over there. Maybe we just all need to sort out who can be here, what they're playing, what their skills are before the time itself. Then when it comes to the time, we can all just go to the Guild Hall with the characters already made and get right in there and do it. It isn't fair on people having to wait when they arranged to be here because we were going to be GvGing, so let's all just pull together and make it happen on time everyone, and yes, I'll be doing the same.

(me) rather than a 20 y.o. (you). roflmao Jesting aside, I tend to agree with your post. If I'm breaking my schedule to make a gvg session, I would expect to have one (assuming 8 members or enough members + guest invitees show up). I think it may be helpful to start/create a thread which indicate the time slots people have available to play Guild Wars. And I would assume a minimum of an hour time commitment for gvg. Once the guild members post their playing times, the officers can figure out which is the optimal time to have gvg.

Sorry if I'm being a tad too bold (since I'm a new recruit and all), but you're talking like a 30 y.o. (me) rather than a 20 y.o. (you). roflmao Hey King - welcome to the guild! lol! Sometimes I feel like a thirty year old, running back and forth like I do. Yeah, that was a (snippy, I know) response to a previous incident when there were enough players online, but a few key members decided to hop into UW instead. Miscommunication and hissyfits abounded, but we're a familial guild, and bounced back quickly. We're stuck in a bit of a quagmire unfortunately - we need more pvp oriented players so we can GvG more consistently, but to recruit, we need a decent ladder-rank, which we get by gvg'ing. As of now, because we have players from all over the world, the best times tend to be late afternoon. Four pm and such, which can get kind of rough for us east coast Americans. So if you know some pvp'ers in search of a guild, send them our way! The more the merrier. And yes, Demonique was right...it totally helps if you're insane. God knows the rest of us are ;D Once again, welcome aboard! Aja

I do a lot of CA runs to farm for faction, and I see a lot of players in there that are guildless. So if you're an officer, you may wanna hang out there to recruit. Since CA is a pvp area, players in that location are already pvp-oriented.
